JHB Main Lecture Theatre, John Henry Brookes Building, Headington Campus

At a time when dystopia reigns, is utopia relevant or even possible?

Nicole will reflect on utopian visions in the Anthropocene – an age of great social inequality and climate disaster. She will explore whether utopia is possible in the Anthropocene or if we have to imagine a new form of utopionism for a world without humans.

Nicole is Professor in the Department of English and Modern Languages at Oxford Brookes.
