The exhibition, titled ‘Laboratorium’ is the finale of a project exploring the unique collection held at the Museum of the History of Science (MHS), Oxford. Approximately 40 Fine Art and 3D Design students studying at the School of Arts at Oxford Brookes University have been working on the project and have been involved in a number of visits to the Museum and OVADA.

Lucy Phillips, Art Coordinator at OVADA and Chris Parkin, Lead Education Officer at MHS will select the best work to be exhibited at OVADA. The students have approached the collection at MHS in an innovative and experimental way and the theme of the exhibition will take in all aspects of the MHS collection including the building itself. Inspired by the collection at the Museum in addition to the architecture and the history of the OVADA warehouse, a wide array of innovative and experimental work will be displayed; including performance, painting and sculpture.


The preview will be held Friday 5 February from 17.00 - 19.00. All are welcome to attend.
