On SATURDAY 9 JULY, 10.30 am – 4pm, pack your family, flip flops, inflatable crocodile and a sand bucket full of curiosity and come to the Brookes Science Bazaar at our Wheatley Campus.
Meet our researchers and enjoy a free day of fun-filled summer science activities. Brookes Science Bazaar 2016 offers a mix of new activities and old favourites.
Learn everything about how cells grow into animals. Take a close look at creepy crawlers with a scanning electron microscope. How would you feel about eating insects for lunch? Make a DNA smoothie from fruits, and take home a DNA bracelet.
Are you rhythmic, accurate and fast? Participate in research and help children around the UK to regain their super-human skills. Find out why your skeleton is amazing! Come and learn about all the different bones in your body and how they fit together. Take a tour inside Simbulance, a teaching ambulance, and experience what it’s like to be a trainee paramedic.
Build a rocket car and see how far it can fly! Test your knowledge in our Big Science Quiz and compete against other families.
Open to all, especially recommended for children aged 5-12. Plenty of FREE parking available.
