Drawing is not just a fundamental skill for any artist or designer – it provides invaluable skills that any aspiring artist can apply throughout their practice. In this broad and exploratory course, you will develop your drawing skills by
experimenting with different media and techniques. The class covers a wide variety of subject matter including the human figure, still life and landscape.
This course is taught by tutors who have experimental methods and will provide inspiring examples to help you refine your own style. Classes are run with a low ratio of staff to students – approximately one tutor for every 15 students – which
allows for in-depth learning and development with Brookes experts. By the end of the course, you will have produced a collection of innovative and original drawings – perfect to add to your portfolio if you are considering applying to a foundation or
degree course, or to simply to inspire your continuing creative practice.
The course will be taught by Ruth Broadbent,
