Extend your life drawing skills using a wide variety of media and approaches.
By Kat ward
Observational drawing is a fundamental core skill for any artist or designer. Our range of experimental life drawing classes provide an opportunity for all skill levels to increase their range of experimental approaches and use of media when drawing the figure to improve their skills.
Through a low staff-to-student ratio it will provide advice and teaching on how to extend existing drawing skills, techniques and styles in order to demonstrate an understanding and awareness of the importance of experimental drawing.
During the courses you will produce a body of work using a range of media and approaches. This may include trying techniques with ink and bleach, ink and a stick, charcoal and rubber, blind contour, opposite hand, chiaroscuro and collage techniques to name a few. In short and extended drawing timings, you will work at different scales and with a variety of paper surfaces.
