The CIPD Oxford Committee and Oxford Brookes University are delighted to be hosting the third annual HRM Research Conference.

CONFERENCE THEME: Exploring organisational complexity: The contribution of HR research Organisations are faced with an increasingly fluid and dynamic environment where social, economic and technological change are creating a new set of demands. Meeting these demands often means organisations have to become more complex as traditional expectations around the role of such things as hierarchy, professional expertise and the employment relationship are challenged. This creates a fascinating but uncertain terrain for HR professionals and this is reflected in the research conducted by Oxford Brookes HRM students.

This conference provides an opportunity to hear more about how this research engages with organisational complexity in a variety of public and private sector organisations. During the conference a number of students will present their findings and show how their research has helped them better understand both new and emerging challenges.
