Details
This one-day course will help develop teachers’ subject knowledge and confidence in working with vulnerable young people. It will include awareness of topics such as attachment types and offer specific strategies to aid working with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Specialised training to suit teachers working with vulnerable young people. The course covers various areas including:
Attachment strategies
Behaviour Support Assistance for teaching professionals
Boxall Profile training
Attachment surgeries for individual young people.
About the speaker
Susie Mullin is a qualified nurse with a background in Neurosurgery. She later trained as a teacher and became a qualified Behaviour Support Teacher, SENCo, Autism specialist in the USA and a Lead Attachment Specialist.
£150/£135 per person including lunch
Reduced rate is available to all partnership schools that will be supporting a Brookes ITT student in 2015-16
