Take on The Global Challenge !
You are invited to dive deep into an issue you are passionate about.
The Global Challenge asks participants to demonstrate a deep understanding of a pressing social or environmental issue by mapping out the landscape of the current solutions and identifying missing opportunities for positive change. By working in teams or stepping out on your own, you will dive into the ecosystem of a problem and present your findings to the world. Winners will have an opportunity to come to Oxford, UK, to present their work, and have the chance to win cash prizes and tickets to the Skoll World Forum.
This session will also include a brief overview of the supported Project Placements in social enterprises. For those of you interested in taking up a placement, you will be meeting Harry Jenkins from the Oxford Hub on an individual basis to discuss your interest at a later date.
This programme is primarily serving Oxford Brookes students and staff members (including entering the Dragons Den pitching event) however members of the public are welcome to attend the workshops although not eligible to take part in competitions.
