Rev. Elder Cecilia Eggleston has served the LGBT community for over thirty years, working within the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches. MCC churches serve communities around the world as part of an international denomination committed to radical inclusivity in all areas. Cecilia has worked with churches across Europe and Africa, engaging with issues affecting the global LGBT community, and is currently the pastor of Northern Lights Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, an inclusive church founded by LGBT people in the North East of England.
