This course advances the
exploration of the grape varieties and how they influence the styles produced
around the world. It will not only cover variety and regions, but also
sparkling, sweet and fortified styles while also introducing the subject of
spirits.
Comparative tastings and
the discussion of food pairing are the key components of every lesson, as is
the understanding of the label to help you make informed choices.

2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine
To gain the qualification,
students need to pass a multiple-choice paper of 50 questions. The
qualification is popular with all wine and spirit employees as well as the
passionate consumer.

course runs for three consecutive Wednesdays from 9.15am - 5pm.
