Women on boards: closing the gender gap

Who this event is for

  • Everyone

Location

JHB Lecture Theatre, John Henry Brookes, Headington Campus, Gipsy Lane site

Details

In 2010 Helena Morrissey founded the 30% Club, a group of Chairs and CEOs committed to ensuring better gender balance at all levels of their organisation. The following year, the Davies Review set a target to achieve 25 per cent of women's representation on boards of FTSE 100 companies by 2015.

In conversation with Professor Simonetta Manfredi, Director of Oxford Brookes' Centre for Diversity Policy Research and Practice (CDPRP), Lord Davies and Helena will reflect on what has been achieved since these targets were set.

Crucially, they will also discuss what remains to be done to finally close the gender gap.
