The session will explore the aims, methodology and early findings of an evaluation exploring the impact of a social impact bond-delivered transformation programme in (unpaid) carer support in Norfolk. The Institute of Public Care has been commissioned by Norfolk County Council to undertake the evaluation over a 3 year period.

The session will include key findings from a rapid research review of the evidence relating to unpaid carer characteristics and needs and 'what works' in unpaid carer support and social impact bonds, also an exploration of the best standardised measures of carer wellbeing.

Katy Burch, Assistant Director, Institute of Public Care, OBU
Tammy Abarno, Senior Consultant, Institute of Public Care OBU
