Who this event is for
Online, Headington Campus
We invite you to join the Brookes Learning and Teaching Conference 2020: Improving Student Learning Through Dialogue.
This year we will be live online, 11 June 2020 from 0930-1500. Schedule for the day. Welcome to the new normal. Economy, policy, attitude and emotions are all disrupted. Are the Inclusive Curriculum, Assessment and Employability being reinvented or is the old order refracted through a new lens?
The Covid-19 crisis has been described as “existential”. It is becoming epistemological, too. How do we know what is “true” any more? And moral: how do we know what is right and good? Hope must guide us now.
Our Keynote speaker is Tansy Jessop, Pro VC for Education at Bristol who will be "Telling a New Assessment Story: TESTA and the Great Disruption". There will be three dialogic sessions with colleagues papers and the Parallel World Cafes will be places where ideas can be freely shared and your own stories told.
Join the conference. Register here: The conference is free and open. Registration helps us plan to give you the best experience we can.
We look forward to seeing you on 11 June.
