This event has now finished. Please see our events website for details of upcoming events at Brookes.
Who this event is for
This panel is chaired by Dr Judie Gannon, International Centre for Coaching & Mentoring Studies, and will interrogate current patterns of mentoring across the UK’s creative industries.
Where do gaps in provision exist and how can these be plugged? Why do some sectors struggle to secure funding? These are critical questions to resolve as the Creative Industries recovers from the impact of Covid-19 and wider economic, political and social changes.
Dr Judie Gannon is a Senior Lecturer in the International Centre for Coaching and Mentoring Studies, Oxford Brookes University. She was the European Mentoring Coaching Council (EMCC) Global Mentoring Award Winner 2019.
Louise McAward-White is responsible for the internal mentoring programme at the British Film Institute. Tamsin Russell works for the Museum’s Association and campaigns for socially engaged museums and a representative workforce. Carys Nelkon is Head of Programmes at Arts Emergency, an award-winning arts mentoring charity and support network. Jo Miller is from the Traditional Music Forum which mentors musicians working in the Scottish heritage sector.
