“Loughborough will be a tough opponent to face but it’s a huge honour for any cricketer to be playing at Lords and I’m confident that we’ve got a strong team for Tuesday’s match.”

The Oxford MCCU team is made up of student cricket players from both the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University. All 13 players picked for Tuesday’s final are current Oxford Brookes students.

The MCCUs are based in Cambridge, Cardiff, Durham, Leeds, Loughborough and Oxford and incorporate a total of 13 institutions. The aim of the MCCUs is to give talented young cricketers the chance to receive top-level coaching and playing opportunities whilst furthering their education.
