The Business School has officially received a non-conditional five year re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA).

AMBA is recognised as being the highest standard of achievement for the best MBA programmes, accrediting the top two per cent of business schools worldwide. Oxford Brookes Business School has held the AMBA accreditation for a total of 16 years.

Throughout the accreditation period, students and graduates will continue to benefit from AMBA’s global network and resources.

Dr Nicolette Michels, Director of Postgraduate Studies at Oxford Brookes Business School said: “I am delighted that we have retained our AMBA accreditation for the Global MBA.

“Our energetic collegiate culture, excellent facilities, collaborative working and emphasis on teaching, learning and staff development to create a programme which reflects the quality of the School, were just some of the great things recognised by AMBA.

“It is testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff that we have a Global MBA programme we can truly be proud of.”

AMBA reported that, ‘The vision presented to the panel is ambitious and inspiring, but realistic… Oxford Brookes aims to create an outstanding experience, maximising the intellectual, social and economic potential of all graduates and communities.’

AMBA also commended the Global MBA for achieving an excellent balance of UK and International students, which is now 50:50. Earlier this year, the diversity of the MBA cohort was an area of strength recognised by the QS Distance Online MBA world rankings in which Oxford Brookes was ranked among the top 20.
