Oxford Brookes has risen significantly in the latest university table.

Brookes is ranked 35th out of 119 institutions which represents a rise of 13 places in the 2014 Guardian University Guide.

The University is ranked in the Top 20 in 12 subject areas which is again an improvement on last year.

Professor John Raftery, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience: “Our significantly improved placing in this year’s Guardian University Guide reflects the progress Oxford Brookes continues to make.

“The Guardian places particular focus on how students value their University through measures such as the National Student Survey. League tables are just one of many indicators but it is pleasing that Brookes' commitment to its students has not gone unnoticed."
