The Hospitality Leaders Week is a joint initiative hosted by the Oxford School of Hospitality Management; The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi in Barcelona, Spain; and the Hotel Management School Maastricht in Maastrict, the Netherlands.

The aim is to bring future industry leaders together to meet, share and discuss best practice with current leaders of the hospitality and tourism sector. It reflects the host schools’ shared belief that students benefit from constant interaction with those who are building the success of our sector internationally.

Hospitality Leaders Week has been an outstanding experience that has further enhanced the value of my studies in the Oxford School of Hospitality Management. I have no hesitation in saying it was an extremely precious experience from which I benefited enormously.

Giuseppe Perrota, Postgraduate student

This year's Hospitality Leaders Week took place in Barcelona from 4 - 8 July. The Oxford School of Hospitality Management was represented by five of our masters students: Natasa Savic, Roumy Bobeva, Eva Kanneppele, Lorenzo Cinquini and Giuseppe Perotta.

The focus of the week was the development of Barcelona as a world-leading tourist destination. Students explored how effective leadership has transformed the city, including its infrastructure, attractions and reputation.
