A new website has been launched for Brookes' alumni.
Oxford Brookes' new alumni website has been launched, offering our alumni exciting new ways of keeping or renewing their links with the University and staying connected to their time here.
The website, and the new features it offers, have been designed in response to feedback from alumni, and enable former students to become part of an online community of Brookes alumni.
Once registered, alumni can set up their own profiles, use the alumni directory to contact former classmates, get expert book and music recommendations, and stay in touch with what's going on in their student societies.
Ben Fitch, Alumni Development Manager, said: "Our new site offers far more than the conventional alumni directory. Our priority was to make it relevant to each individual who logs on. For most alumni, their Brookes experience was made great by the people they knew and worked with here, so we've tried to help each former student connect to those people better.
"You might recognise the member of faculty who has given a recommended read list, or suggest someone who ought to be there. Where there is a great Youtube video or where a Facebook group already exists, we point our alumni in the right direction."
The new site also offers members access to a Brookes email for life, guidance and support from the careers service for life, and information about the alumni mentoring scheme. An alumni membership card entitles its owner to a growing range of special deals on products and services.
The University has over 100,000 alumni, and 20% of them have remained in Oxfordshire. Browse the new website, or register if you are an alumnus and look out for more alumni news and dozens of events in the coming months.
