Oxford Brookes University has gained recognition as an Investor in People.

The university is now planning how best to build on this achievement to continue to improve using the Investors in People framework.

Rosemary Botcherby, Staff Development Consultant at Oxford Centre for Staff and Learning Development based at Oxford Brookes said:

“We are delighted that Oxford Brookes has achieved the Investor in People standard. It is reflection of everyone’s hard work across the University. At Brookes, we believe it is important that staff should feel valued and be encouraged to reach their full potential.”

The Investors in People Standard is designed to advance an organisation's performance through the leadership, management and development of its people. To gain the coveted recognition an organisation must comply with 39 indicators concerned with management practices and staff experiences.
