Oxford Brookes amongst “world’s elite” in 12 subject areas

Oxford Brookes’ global reputation across a diverse range of courses has been recognised in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
The University features amongst the world’s elite institutions in 12 of the 42 subjects featured in this year’s rankings which have been published today (Tuesday 22 March).
In compiling its data, QS evaluated 4,226 universities which involved over 113 million citations and the provision of over 15,500 programmes.
The twelve subject areas in which Oxford Brookes is considered by QS to be amongst the “world’s elite” are:

• Economics and Econometrics – top 250
• Law – top 200

This latest good news in world rankings follows hot on the heels of the announcement last month that Oxford Brookes is ranked fifth in the world for its Global MBA programme in the largest ever QS Distance Online MBA Rankings.
It also follows the news last year that Oxford Brookes has climbed higher in the list of the top 400 universities in the latest QS World University Rankings and has gone up 77 places in the last three years.
Earlier this year, the Times Higher Education also announced that Oxford Brookes has been listed as one of the world’s top universities for its international outlook in its ranking of the top 200 most international universities.
