Oxford Brookes to defer accommodation charges

Brookes announces financial support package for the start of the year.

Pressures on England's student finance system will not prevent students from enrolling at Oxford Brookes.

In light of delays that have been affecting some applications for external student finance, Oxford Brookes has put a number of measures in place to support students as the start of the academic year approaches.

We are allowing students living in our halls of residence to defer their first rental payment, which would have been due on Thursday 1 October, until the relevant funding is made available.

There are also emergency funding options available and we anticipate being able to meet demand for these short-term loans, as we do every year.

Students will still be able to enrol on the basis that they have applied for funding, even if it has not yet come through in full.

We offer a wide range of bursaries and scholarships to ensure those studying at Oxford Brookes have a full range of options to support them through their time with us.
