The Oxford Brookes University GetPublished! Student Research Poster Conference is taking place on Friday 12 April 2019, 12:00-14:00 in the Forum, John Henry Brookes Building, Headington Campus.

The event is an opportunity to discover some of the fantastic research being undertaken at undergraduate and postgraduate taught levels. Presentation topics range from migration to monkeys, from healthcare to housing, and from foreign security to fanfiction.

The talented students will be on-hand to discuss their exciting research, and prizes will be awarded for the best posters during the conference.

Two students who represented Oxford Brookes University at the Posters in Parliament 2019 event in Westminster last month, will also be presenting their work:

  • Sanna Djurhuus (Economics, Politics and International Relations, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences)
Research project: Reasons to stay, reasons to return: an impact analysis of a Faroese migration policy focused on students in higher education
  • Briony Farmer (Geography, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences)
Research project: Prefab: A Potential UK Housing Solution?
