The Oxford Brookes Global MBA climbs to fifth in world rankings

Oxford Brookes University has been ranked fifth in the world for its Global MBA programme in the largest ever QS Distance Online MBA Rankings released today.

The rankings, issued by higher and business education analysts QS Quacquarelli Symonds, also showed that Oxford Brookes ranked third amongst UK-based institutions – seven of which dominated the rankings - and overall climbed two positions since last year’s survey.

Online MBA courses are becoming increasingly popular among candidates as people motivated to learn attempt to balance educational goals with their careers and personal lives, while a growing number of employers are recognizing the value of the MBA qualification delivered with the support of technology.

Oxford Brookes competed with 30 online MBAs ranked this year, QS’s most comprehensive list yet. The QS Distance Online MBA Rankings attempt to provide learners with the detailed information necessary to help them make optimal educational and career decisions. The methodology comprises 18 indicators across six key areas which includes the employability of graduates.
