  • Drew Hardie

Drew is Head of Space Planning within the Directorate of Estates and Facilities. He has a long-term affiliation with Oxford having moved here to study at Oxford Brookes in 1995, staying on in the city before returning to work at  Brookes in 2013. His current role sees him interact with a wide variety of staff and students across the University in all faculties and directorates to help to transform the teaching, learning and working environment into spaces fit for a modern university.

He has held positions at Oxfam GB Headquarters, Oxford University Press and Oxford County Council focusing on facilities, space utilisation and student/staff experience. He has also been a Governor at a local primary school acting as chair of the finance and premises committee, seeing the school move from 'requiring special measures' to a 'good' Ofsted rating.

He brings his experience of life in the education sector with what the next generation are used to and his enthusiasm for connecting teams across the University to improve what we offer.
