    Robert has been the Managing Director of Critchleys LLP since 2006, founded in 1906 it is one of Oxford's oldest accountancy firms. He joined as a graduate trainee in 1988 and became a partner in 1998. He specialises in advising educational and charity clients and heads the firm's charities team. He is also Managing Director of Landtax LLP.

    He is a member of the Oxford Strategic Partnership, a statutory body overseeing the work of Oxford City Council and Chair of ProOxford a network of professional firms promoting Oxford as a place to do business.

    His previous charity roles have included Trustee of Charity Centre Oxford and Treasurer of the Dorchester Abbey Preservation Trust.

    Robert was born and brought up in Thame, Oxfordshire, attending Lord Williams School. Both of his parents attended institutions that became Oxford Brookes. He has a degree in Computer Science from Warwick University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is married to Alison and has two children.
