The Abercrombie Building at the Headington Campus was opened in the summer of 2012 and it is where the School is based.
Students in the School benefit from brand-new, purpose-built facilities and an inspiring working environment. The building houses learning spaces connected by glass walkways spanning an expansive full-height atrium, making the School of the Built Environment a vibrant, design-focused place to learn. We bring all the professional disciplines together making for a really exciting academic atmosphere.
Oxford Brookes University has three libraries, the largest of which is on the Headington Campus, in the John Henry Brookes Building (JHBB), near to the classrooms and studios.
