Welcome to the School of the Built Environment Construction Interview webpage.
Thank you for your application and congratulations on reaching this stage of the selection process.
The interview process at Oxford Brookes gives us the opportunity to meet you and see if the course is right for you. It also forms an important part of your decision making journey – allowing you to find out more about the course and the university as a whole. We really look forward to welcoming you to the School on your interview day.
There are a few important questions that you will need to ask yourself prior to your visit:
Please complete the interview reply form below to confirm your attendance.

What to bring with you
Please ensure that you bring a passport sized photograph (please PRINT your name on the back).
What to wear
A smart standard of dress is expected.
Parking in the city centre is very difficult. If you are travelling by car, I would advise to make use of the city's Park & Ride facilities, details of which, including ticket and parking prices, can be found here. I would suggest using either the Thornhill or Seacourt Park and Ride stations, as the 400 bus departs from both of these stations and runs both through the city centre, and also past the Headington/ Gipsy Lane Campus of the University.
On the day
Please be advised that we do offer an optional student-led campus tour at 11:00. If you would like to attend the tour, please select this option on the Reply Form so that we know how many people will be attending. If you choose not to attend the tour please come straight to the university for 12:45.
When you arrive please report to our Main Reception Desk in the John Henry Brookes Building - for a detailed programme of the day, please refer to the Interview Programme below.
There will be a group exercise on the topics floating homes and green cities. Although not essential it would be beneficial to do some research on these two areas before you arrive.
Please report to our Main Reception Desk in the John Henry Brookes Building, Headington Campus.
