The School of the Built Environment awards a limited number of scholarships which are awarded on a competitive basis to UK, EU and international postgraduates each year.
The scholarships listed below are designed to offer a funding award set against the cost of tuition fees for a Master’s degree within the Faculty, and do not include a contribution towards living costs, travel, text books, or other ancillary items.
The number of scholarships listed here are the totals available across the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment to which the School of the Built Environment belongs.

RTPI FUTURE BURSARY PROGRAMME 2018
The scheme encourages students who have studied a different subject at undergraduate level to undertake a one-year Planning Masters at accredited Planning Schools.
Three £2,000 awards are available to 3 students at Oxford Brookes University who will be studying the one year MSc course in Spatial Planning.

How to apply for the bursary
Potential applicants for the RTPI bursary should send a personal statement outlining why you wish to pursue a career in planning and any other or special considerations that you would wish us to take into account.
Write a brief statement explaining why you should be awarded the bursary. This should not exceed 500 words. The bursary name (RTPI) should go in the subject header of the email as well as on your statement, along with your name when emailed to Tracey Isaac at firstname.lastname@example.org and be received no later than midday on 31 July 2018.
The successful applicants will be informed shortly thereafter. Payment can only be given post-enrolment.
