    About the Programme

Since 2009, this training programme has successfully completed 6 rounds, and over 90% of its delegates have now qualified as Chartered Surveyors. The programme was extended to Vietnam in 2012, and ALL delegates in the first cohort in Vietnam have become MRICS. If you would like to apply to take part in the programme, please contact us for details of start dates and locations. This programme offers an opportunity for Asian property professionals to develop and broaden their knowledge and skills. All the teaching materials are tailor-made for this programme and contain many practical and relevant case studies. This will also be useful for the delegates’ daily work. The short programme covers the following three main areas:

    • Property Valuation and Investment
    • Property Development and Management
    • General Business and Management Skills

Successful completion of this programme allows delegates to exit with the training programme award in Property Valuation which also gives the direct entry to the final RICS interview.

The programme takes four months to complete. The first month is mainly for induction and preparations. The main part of the study will be completed within the following 3 months. It is based around the University’s virtual learning environment which offers self-paced, interactive learning. In addition, at regular intervals, candidates will attend intensive face-to-face teaching sessions in the region. These sessions will run over extended weekends and will be co-ordinated by internationally renowned and experienced academics from Oxford Brookes University. The teaching will be conducted mainly in English.
