Real Estate Management
Before coming to Brookes I I was at Oxted School 6th form in Surrey, studying A-levels in History, English Literature, Biology and Physical Education. I chose Brookes because it had a very good reputation for the course, I loved the university and the location. I enjoyed the majority of the modules. The course as a whole is brilliant, socially and educationally, and I would not have chosen anything else.
There are so many societies and clubs to get involved with and I believe balancing social as well as learning is very important. I have met some amazing friends from halls, my course and the hockey club. The location is brilliant too, and transport around, when on time, is very convenient. My advice for others would be to give yourself 100% in your first year to meeting new people and socialising, as well as finding a balance between that and learning. Explore all the different parts of Oxford itself, and make use of the university facilities. In Real Estate specifically, keep up with work and coursework and make sure any lectures you can't attend, you read the notes for asap.
