The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences Annual Careers Event was held on Thursday 25th April, with 56 representatives from businesses and professional fields attending the large speed-networking event with around 140 undergraduates from across Psychology, Biological and Medical Sciences, Clinical Health Care and Sport and Health Sciences.

Companies such as Jamie Oliver Ltd and Oxford University Press were represented as well as other organisations such as the RSPB and the NHS, giving the event a broad base of expertise and making it a unique experience for all attendees. Other highlights of the evening included a mini careers fair and the keynote address, given this year by Paul Cann, head of Age UK.

This year's event was the largest yet, and there has been a great deal of positive feedback from guests and students, with 100% of student respondents to our feedback survey rating the event "Beneficial" or "Very beneficial" and 92% would attend another careers event in future.
