The Department of Biological and Medical Sciences is delighted to announce that Prof Stewart Thompson has been voted ‘Most inspirational Lecturer’ as part of the Oxford Brookes Student Union Teaching Awards.

The Department of Biological and Medical Sciences is delighted to announce that Prof Stewart Thompson has been voted ‘Most inspirational Lecturer’ as part of the Oxford Brookes Student Union Teaching Awards. 

Professor Thompson said, "I am delighted to receive this award as first and foremost, teaching is why I do the job.  Knowing that these awards are student-led adds an extra layer of satisfaction, as you do feel you are going some way to making a real difference to students’ lives".

Other departmental staff shortlisted for awards included Andrew Lack, also as an ‘Inspirational Lecturer’ and Dave Carter in the ‘Academic Adviser’ category. 

Professor Thompson will receive his award on Tuesday 30th of April at Headington Hill Hall, as part of the Oxford Brookes Student Led Teaching Awards ceremony.
