  • The GenLang Consortium aims to bring together genetic researchers of speech and language. Current genetic analysis techniques require very large sample sizes to generate enough power to detect genetic contributions. There are many research groups with existing data from individuals affected by speech and language disorders. By forming a research network between these researchers, GenLang makes it possible to initiate collaborative projects across existing datasets allowing more powerful genetic studies to be completed.

This project is in collaboration with researchers from Baylor College of Medicine and the Max Planck Institute of Psycholinguisitics and involves researchers around the world.
