Climbing and anxiety during isolation
Blog post about how lockdown impact Mark.
My name is Mark Cobb. I've been climbing for about 11 years and learnt to climb at Brookes. I am a bouldering obsessive and love bouldering inside and outside, with a preference for outside. I somehow managed to climb a V10 boulder, called Tension Set in The Cuttings, Portland several years ago. This is still my highest grade boulder problem, although I managed Dark Matter at Wimberry, V9, two years ago.
I love climbing with my wife, son and daughter, although my son is now better than me - the harsh reality of age!
I also love writing about climbing, have had several articles published in Climber magazine and on U.K. Climbing and have just published my first book. I have many climbing friends at Brookes and love the friendly, comfortable atmosphere there.
