Meet Imogen Jones (Netball) and Jack Reid (Rugby League) as they look forward to Varsity against the Reading Knights and Brookes look to make it six wins out of six.

On Saturday 18th March, Oxford Brookes University will be hosting a series of sporting fixtures across Oxford in the 6th annual Varsity against Reading Knights. We had a quick chat with your captains, Imogen Jones (Netball) and Jack Reid (Rugby League) ahead of the big day to hear their thoughts on this year's Varsity.

What do you know about your opponents? They are having a good season like ourselves so it should be a really competitive match up, and one we are looking forward to.

Varsity predictions? It will be close but I think we can come away with win number 6

Now in it's sixth year, Varsity brings teams together from Oxford Brookes and Reading University in a huge variety of match ups. The university that ends up with the most wins gets their hands of the coveted Varsity trophy - and after looking after it for the last 5 years we really don't want to hand it over! The day will be kicking off with both badminton and volleyball taking place at the Centre for Sport in Headington from 9:30am with tennis matches following soon after at Iffley Road.

All eyes turn to the Centre for Sport at the end of the day, as the basketball and hockey first teams round out the action in what promises to be a lively atmosphere. All of the teams and students taking part in Varsity appreciate all the support they can get, so come along to one of the venues to cheer on Brookes and help them make it 6 victories in a row!
