    Return to Activity guidance from England Hockey


    The Hockey Club is the largest sports club and Oxford Brookes, with 4 teams in both men’s and women’s BUCS competition.

    Training takes place at Brookes Sport Headington, a 2 minute walk from the John Henry Brookes building, whereby there is a hockey specific synthetic pitch. Sessions take place for both men's and women's teams Mondays from 5:00pm to 10:30pm and on Thursdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

    For me, Brookes hockey has made my University experience. The socials are unreal, the hockey is competitive and the club is one big family. I am proud to say that everyone who is a part of it has enjoyed their time in the OBUHC family, and I hope to keep it that way. Will Ash, President 2018/19
