Return to Activity guidance from British Judo Association
A dynamic combat sport developed in Japan, Judo is one of the few martial arts based sports in the Olympics. Using a combination of physical prowess and mental discipline, players attempt to lift and throw opponents onto the mat to score points for the win. A great workout and ideal for those wanting to learn some effective self defence techniques.
Our Judo squad compete in BUCS and other competitions with training sessions taking place in the studio at Headington on Fridays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Sundays between 2:30pm and 4:30pm.
