Ethical behaviour

Ethical behaviour is the willingness to assess the consequences and impact of ideas, opportunities and actions upon others and respond accordingly.

It is evident in:

  • the Oxford Brookes guiding principle of 'Generosity of Spirit',
  • a concern for others,
  • a willingness to reflect on how sustainable long-term social, cultural and economic goals are, and the course of action chosen,
  • acting responsibly.
