    If you are an employer wishing to upskill your existing workforce, or an individual wishing to pursue a qualification for professional advantage or career advancement, Oxford Brookes has a wide range of options available. Many of these offer flexibility across short courses or part-time options allowing study to be integrated with work requirements so that the student and the business begin to benefit while study is ongoing.

  • Accountancy
    Oxford Brookes University has a strong strategic relationship with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Various courses are available through the Business School.
    Architecture
    The School of Architecture offers courses leading to RIBA recognised qualifications such as the RIBA Examination in Professional Practice.
    Arts
    We offer a variety of short courses in graphic design, photography, drawing and other arts disciplines.
    Business and Management
    The Business School offers a wide variety of qualifications and accreditations through programmes on leadership, coaching and mentoring, and management development. We have just introduced a new range of short courses including:  Introduction to Coaching & Mentoring Leading, Managing in Times of Uncertainty and Building a High-Performance Team.
    Education
    As well as teacher training, a variety of courses are on offer to develop specialist teaching skills.
    Healthcare
    A wide variety of accredited qualifications, short courses, study days, and workshops are available spanning many healthcare disciplines, including nursing, paramedic training, and mental health.
    Hospitality
    The Oxford Brookes School of Hospitality Management offers stimulating programmes for career development as well as accredited and valuable specialist courses through the Cookery and Wine School.
    Law
    A variety of accredited courses are available to guide students through the academic stage of qualifying in the legal profession
