Dr Jonathan Louw elected as Chair of the UK and Ireland Chapter of PRME

Oxford Brookes Business School is delighted to note the election of Dr Jonathan Louw as the incoming Chair of the UK and Ireland Chapter of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management (PRME) initiative.
His term of office starts on 1 January 2021.
PRME is a global movement of some 800 business schools committed to re-aligning business and management education in pursuit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). The UK and Ireland Chapter has 64 business school members and an active programme of events, conferences, research seed funding competitions and publications designed to engage academics and students.
Welcoming this development, Professor Tim Vorley, OBBS Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean, has noted "For five years OBBS has organised a Writing Competition open to all students in UK and Ireland business schools on behalf of the Chapter. Jonathan's new role will provide us with many further opportunities to support the growth and impact of an already vibrant Chapter. There could not be a more important time for us as a school to be helping promote critical engagement with the SDGs across our sector."
