Excellence in Coaching and Mentoring Development is recognised through EMCC Global Quality Award

Oxford Brookes University is delighted to announce that EMCC Global has acknowledged the excellent standards of coach and mentoring development carried out at the University through conferring the European Quality Award (EQA) on the University.
This is an internationally recognised accreditation for providers of coaching/mentoring training and education. This award makes our MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice immediately recognisable for the professional standards our programme provides.
Evaluation and accreditation of educational and training provision is an integral and essential step on the path to establishing the professional credibility and status of coaching/mentoring. EMCC Global has a framework for assessment based on extensive consultation as well as the most recent and comprehensive evidence-based research of mentoring/coaching. The emphasis of this accreditation is to promote standards by acknowledging existing excellence.
The EQA means that students completing the Post-Graduate Certificate as an integral part of our MA Programme in Coaching and Mentoring Practice, coupled with the required level of coach/mentoring experience will be eligible for EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) as Senior Practitioners.
This now means that The International Centre for Coaching and Mentoring Studies (ICCAMS) has achieved EMCC accreditation for both its MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice and the Professional Certificate for Advanced study in Coaching Supervision.
