Dr Judie Gannon one of the members of the International Centre for Coaching & Mentoring Studies (ICCaMS) has won an international Mentoring award from the EMCC (a global coaching, mentoring, and supervision association) for her research.
The award recognises her contribution to the improvement of
mentoring programmes in organisations and was marked out by the judges as
‘important and valuable because it reviews and evaluates the state of formal
mentoring in the UK across sectors and contexts using a mixed methods study.
Her research is innovative because it is one of the 1st pieces of research
focussing on the role of the mentoring scheme co-ordinator.’
As an award winner Judie is invited to attend
the EMCC conference in Paris, in June, when the awards ceremony takes place.
The EMCC exists to develop, promote, and set the expectation of best practice
globally in mentoring, coaching, and supervision and be the ‘go to’ body in
mentoring, coaching, and supervision. They have over 6,000 members across more
than 70 countries world-wide.
