Responsible for the co-ordination of the postgraduate, CIPD approved HRM programmes in the Business School. Also School lead in relation to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education and the Oxford Brookes Social Entrepreneurship Award Scheme. Undergraduate teaching focused on (1) sustainability and (2)employability.
Also Liaison Manager for the Dual Degree (European Business Studies) offered with the University of Applied Sciences, Regensburg, Germany.

Jonathan joined the Business Faculty in 2003 following earlier careers in teaching, social services as well as marketing, HR and general management in the non-profit sector, most recently at the NGOs Care International and Oxfam. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.His key areas of teaching interest are in relation to HRM, employability, environmental sustainability and responsible business practices. He leads undergraduate modules on environmentally sustainable business and employability and at postgraduate level he principally teaches on the HR strand of the Faculty's Professional Development Programmes.
Jonathan's doctoral thesis at Lancaster University focused on the engagement of UK business schools with the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). He has other educational and management qualifications from the universities of Cape Town, Witwatersrand, South Africa, London, Durham and Oxford Brookes. His research interests include: responsible management education, PRME, the use of institutional theory in organisational analysis and employability n the UK non-profit (Third) sector.
