Before coming to Oxford Brookes, I was Head of the Inetrnational Foundation Programmes at the University of Reading and spent 4 years at their Malaysia campus. My other international experience includes teacher training in Nigeria and teaching grade 13 history to students at a Canadian school in Hong Kong. My academic background spans the areas of history, anthropology and applied linguistics.
I teach the following modules on the international foundation programme: Orientation to University Studies, Foundation Project, Foundations of Modern Thought and Intercultural Communication.
My research interests include academic culture, student engagement and critical thinking.
