We run courses that are open to all business professionals, as well as bespoke programmes for organisations. You will benefit from expert knowledge, skills and insights that will help you tackle todays challenges and shape tomorrows solutions.
Our new programme of one day courses are for busy professionals who would like to upskill in a particular area, or for those who want to gain an introduction to the subject ahead of enrolling on one of our short courses.
Our short courses run for 4 or 5 days, usually spread out over several months. At present we offer 'Implementing Strategy' and 'Leader as Coach' as short courses, and will be growing this offer in the coming year.
We have the ability to offer certification on the courses we run including ILM qualifications and Masters Level CATS points.

Our one day courses are aimed at upskilling business professionals through exploring the latest thinking and practice in key areas for business success. All one day courses take place on a Wednesday and run from 9am to 5pm on campus.
Business Improvement for Operational Excellence: 22 May 2024, one day in person, 9am-5pm, £250 per person
Designed to help businesses free up capacity by reducing waste and enabling focus on the bottom line, this course will be beneficial for all organisations but particularly those responsible for driving change, or in operational or support functions.

Leadership and Change: June 2024 (date TBC), one day in person, 9am-5pm, £300 per person (includes external diagnostic tool)
This is a leadership course designed to help leaders thrive in a changing work environment and world. The first part of the course is focused on understanding yourself as a leader; leveraging your natural strengths so you are able to confidently adapt to different leadership challenges. The second part makes use of real life case studies to enhance your ability to exercise inclusive and responsible leadership. This course is suitable for those already in a management or leadership role.

Finance for Strategic Thinkers: £250 per person
Provides managers with an understanding of how financial information is used to monitor and control the business, to inform strategic decision making, and the confidence to discuss financial issues with finance professionals. It is not about bookkeeping.
Sustainability for Businesses: £250 per person
Understanding sustainability is increasingly important for businesses and their stakeholders. In this programme we look at what we mean by sustainability, who is interested in what business does relating to sustainability, what can businesses do and how can they measure progress.
Implementing Strategy: £250 per person
Having formulated a great strategy, how can you make sure that it is put into practice and leads to the desired business results? In this course the tutors will challenge you to think and act differently, using a mix of thought-provoking academic perspectives, stimulating case studies and practical exercises. The emphasis is categorically on creating practical deliverables, grounded in solid understanding of the issues in the context of your organisation.
