Details

This year's conference theme is: The Power of Organisational Research: the contribution of HR postgraduate students. Our keynote speaker, aptly enough, is our freshly-minted Professor in Organisational Studies, Juliette Koning!

The PG HRM teaching and supervision team would be delighted if you chose to join us at our 5th Annual Postgraduate HR Research Conference on Saturday 18 November from 9.30am to 1pm, followed by lunch.

The principal audiences for this conference are current PG HRM students and local HR professionals (the conference is a jointly badged event with the Oxford CIPD Branch). In addition, though, we believe the conference may be of interest to our wider OBBS research community and to any Masters student undertaking organisationally-based research. Between 8 and 10 graduating PG HRM students will present their findings and also reflect on their conceptual frameworks and research designs - all of which may be of use to other Masters students about to embark on a dissertation. Programme Leads are thus very welcome to publicise the event to other PG cohorts if they so choose.

If you or those you publicise the event to would like to attend, please do sign up in advance. This is essential for our catering planning.

I'd also like to record my appreciation here of our hard-working dissertation supervision team and the programme support team who provide the essential infrastructure that underpins these dissertation modules. We shall rightly applaud our student achievements on 18th November but here I would also like to applaud the multiple and much-valued contributions of my colleagues.

We hope to see some of you at our conference. Please click here for a poster containing more information about the event.
