    Book hospitality catering for your event here.

    From the 6 June, the catering team have launched a new easy to use online system to book your hospitality catering called BlueRunner. This system enables you to manage your hospitality catering bookings more effectively and efficiently.

    • It’s as easy as shopping online, just enter in your cost code; choose your items, tell us where and when you want it and add it to your basket - the rest is up to us. 
    • If you need to amend your booking, you can just log back in to do that too. 
    • You can add bespoke items, dietary requirements and leave notes on anything you order.  
    • Registration is simple, and takes two minutes - why don’t you do it now.

    Please note: BlueRunner is a new system for us, and whilst we’ve trialed for the last few months, like all new systems we’re still ironing out a few creases. Your feedback is appreciated on this, so we can make sure we’ve made it an easy process for you. 

    What we offer

    • Our hospitality are for service and delivery between Monday to Friday 07.30am - 8.30pm.
    • If your request falls outside of these timescales your Catering Manager will be happy to discuss possible options.
    • Building works, throughout the University, may cause disruptions to the Department’s ability to deliver hospitality at certain times. Your Catering Manager will advise accordingly at the time of bookings of potential concerns.
    • Due to the logistics of certain buildings it may be necessary for a 'disposable' service to be used. Your Catering Manager will advise accordingly at the time of the booking.
    • Throughout the year, seasonal hospitality specials details will be sent out.
    • Each booking must be given with sufficient notice, this enables for a smooth and efficient delivery.

    Terms and conditions

    • Before booking any hospitality please ensure that the room you wish to use is free and is suitable for the consumption of food.
    • When the hospitality form is sent, please ensure that a time for clearance is entered.
    • All of the hospitality equipment delivered must stay in the room. Charges will be made for missing pieces of equipment.
    • All food is of a perishable nature and is for immediate consumption.
    • There will be a corkage fee charged for any alcoholic bottle consumed that is not purchased from Catering Services of £7.50 per bottle.
    • Cancellations made on the day will be charged in full.
    • There is a minimum charge of £22.50 for all deliveries.
    • Catering Services are the University’s provider for hospitality catering across all campuses. The use of external caterers is not permitted.
