Teams across the University are able to manage and edit their own websites using the Ektron content management system (CMS).
Before using the CMS for the first time, you will need to have an account set up with the appropriate permissions to access the system. Email the Web team to apply.

The Web team provide an 'Introduction to Ektron' training session and can advise on additional / bespoke training if required.

These documents are updated regularly and any feedback that can help us improve them is welcome.
If your site is hosted outside Ektron CMS and you would like to migrate it in to the system, please email the Web team. The team can help you set up your new site in Ektron, provide training and develop any new features required in order for your site to function correctly when it has been migrated.
This depends on the size and complexity of your site and whether or not you would like to review and redevelop your site's architecture as part of the migration work.
As a guide, a small site (approx 20-40 pages) that does not need any functionality that isn't already available in our Ektron implementation can be implemented in 2 - 3 weeks. This assumes:
