  • INDUSTRIAL LECTURE SERIES

Presenting a series of lectures by commercial partners and influential speakers discussing their own careers and/ or opportunities for graduating and placement students.

The idea is that the talks are inspirational, informative and present career opportunities for placement students, graduates, and postgraduate students - if you're looking for graduates it would be a good recruitment opportunity.

    Typically speakers talk about:

    • Their own career following (and sometimes including) university
    • Interesting jobs they've had or projects they've worked on
    • What areas of work they're currently involved in
    • The type of work graduates could expect
    • Current job opportunities that may be available
    • Any suggestions for students with regard to jobhunting / CV writing / interviews etc.
